Project Coordinator

The role of the Project Coordinator is to plan, coordinate and implement a prevention project that will enhance resources and capacities for violence prevention initiatives in Nishnawbe Aski Nation. The Project Coordinator will engage with partners and NAN communities to ensure all outcomes and deliverables reflect the unique needs of children and youth in NAN who are at risk of abuse and violence. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting analysis, advocacy and directives that will impact policy and strategic initiatives related to violence prevention priorities in Nishnawbe Aski Nation.

Crisis Response Coordinator

The Crisis Response Coordinator position involves extensive travelling to NAN first nation communities and the ability to be available on an on call 24 hour basis.  The Coordinator will work with frontline and community members in providing overall case management services and coordination of programs and services in crisis situations.
