Oshki Graduation - On October 14 graduates were celebrated in a ceremony for Oshki-Pimache-O-Win Education and Training Institute in Thunder Bay. NAN Grand Chief Stan Beardy was an honoured speaker at the event.

Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Event - On September 28 NAN Grand Chief Stan Beardy was invited to a TRC event held at Queens Park in Toronto. He met with TRC Chairperson Justice Murray Sinclair and other members of the TRC committee.

We Day 2011 - Free The Children's We Day is more than just one day of celebration and inspiration. We Day is the movement of our time - a movement of young people leading local and global change. NAN Grand Chief Stan Beardy was invited as a special guest to the We Day event held at the Air Canda Centre in Toronto September 27.
